Tell me about you .
-I am an Operations Manager for a manufacturing company. I have a passion for sewing and studied Fashion Design and Textiles prior to studying to become an Operations Manager. I don't have a lot of spare time to sew but when I do, I like to sew accessories for cars such as shift boots. I have also played ice hockey since I was 13 years old and I still enjoy it today. I've been married to Kevin for 13 years and we have 2 dogs and a cat...and 8 cars.

How long have you been racing ?
-I have been racing since 2007. I became Ice Racing Rookie of the Year in 2008. I started road racing in 2020 and I have participated in the Knox Mountain Hillclimb 3 times.

Why did you get into racing ?
-I have always been fascinated with cars and modifying my car even though it is not in my "bloodline". When I met my husband in 2006, he brought me along to Ice Racing and I was very intrigued. He encouraged me to give it a try.

Who in your life has had the biggest impact on your racing career ?
-My husband Kevin for sure. He spends the time building my race car and encouraging me to keep pushing. He is also my competition and it is amazing to get to race alongside him.

Do you have any sponsors ?
-2nd Gen Racing and Lordco

Favorite moment in racing ?
-The first time I beat Kevin in a race! (And it was fair and square). But besides that, the first time I felt comfortable in the starting grid going into turn 1 at Mission without backing off.

Dream Race car ?
-Porsche GT3

Mercedes or Redbull ?
-Redbull!

Something funny or interesting we should know about you.
-I was terrified of dogs and cats my whole life. I now have 2 dogs and 1 cat! I talked to them like they are people.

Most embarrassing moment ?
-Too many to list that is for sure. My friends like to get photos of me making weird faces. Those show up on Facebook on occasion for the rest of the world to see.

Does your car number have a special meaning ? Why did you choose it ?
-#44 is my hockey jersey number. The first day I went to watch Kevin play lacrosse when we were dating, I noticed he had the same jersey number as me. It is a special number. But only one of us can race with that number. :D

Favorite quote ?
-It is not miles per gallon, it is smiles per gallon.

What car did you take driver training in ?
-My Honda CRX

First race car ?
-Honda Civic

Do you have a nickname ?
-Bon or Bons

Do you name your cars ?
-Only my street Honda CRX. We spent 10 years building that car from scratch. It is named Harold. The other cars aren't as "special".

What would be on the gag real of your life.
-Oh there are many things that I say that are weird. Sometimes my brain doesn't quite catch up to my mouth. For instance, Kevin and I were out at a sandwich deli. There were many selections of sandwiches. As we were eating, I mentioned it would be great if they had a dessert deli. Kevin quickly replied...."oh you mean like a BAKERY??"
